Joseph Burgard
Joseph Burgard, originally from Monterey, California, and Jackson, New Jersey, brings extensive financial expertise to his role at Shorepoint Divorce Solutions, helping individuals navigate one of life’s most complex transitions: divorce. He holds a B.A. in Biology and has spent over five years in the financial industry, including roles as Financial Advisor and Branch Manager at Santander Bank, a multibillion-dollar international institution.
His experience includes team leadership, coaching, and a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis—skills he now applies to helping clients achieve clarity and confidence during divorce. At Shorepoint Divorce Solutions, Joseph works directly with clients to organize and analyze their financial information, evaluate settlement options, and develop post-divorce financial plans tailored to their new lives. His expertise ensures clients understand both the immediate and long-term financial impact of decisions, empowering them to move forward with confidence and control.
Joseph’s achievements include qualifying for the 2019 Penn Mutual President’s Scholarship for new advisors and consistently ranking as a top quarterly performer at Santander. Outside of work, he is committed to community involvement, supporting organizations such as The Shiba Rescue of NJ, The Monmouth County SPCA, The Oxx Foundation for Parkinson’s, and The James Volpe Foundation. He has also served on the board of Holbrook Little League and previously fostered dogs for Ark of Promise Dog Rescue.
When not assisting clients, Joseph enjoys time with his wife, Tara, and their daughter, Charlotte.
